(Written at the age of 13): This song, the only one about a love from childhood, is the story of my love for one of my classmates. Denise Delaire, a girl who was my same age, was a love from my early teenage years that I always repressed because I was extremely shy. It seems to me today, from an adult's perspective, that Denise was also interested in me but was also equally as shy. Although the song does not mention anything in deatil, Denise leaves Colombia and moves with her family to the United States. From that moment on, I would never see her again. As a consequence of this, I had repressed emotions that I managed to express in this song a few months after she left.

(Escrita a los 13 años): La única canción que habla sobre un amor de mi infancia, es la historia de mi amor por una compañera del colegio. Denise Delaire, una chiquilla de mi edad, fue un amor de adolescencia que siempre suprimí ya que era en aquellos tiempos extremadamente tímido. A mi parecer, hablando hoy desde la persperctiva de un adulto, Denise también tenía interés en mí pero era igual de tímida que yo. Aunque la canción no da detalles, Denise finalmente parte de Colombia y se muda con su familia a los Estados Unidos. De ahí en adelante nunca más la volvería a ver. Mis sentimientos quedaron por este motivo reprimidos y se expresan en esta canción pocos meses después de ella partir.
