(Written at the age of 16): The hermit in the song represents that person in a family who, alone, seeks unity between its members. Unfortunately for him, his family is divided due to reasons that are not the focus of the song. There is hatred and grudges between brothers and sisters who no longer talk to each other.

This song reflects the many conflicts in the family on my mother's side where some of my uncles had reached the point of no longer wanting to talk to each other. This was a situation that left a mark on my childhood and inspired this song where the narrator asks his younger sister Mei Mei, as in Mandarin Chinese, to be close again like in past times.

Infortunadamente para él, su familia se encuentra dividida por muchas razones que no son el foco de la canción. Existen odios y rencores entre hermanos, los cuales no se hablan entre sí.

Esta canción refleja las situaciones de discordia en la familia por el lado de mi madre donde algunos de mis tíos habían llegado hasta el punto de no querer hablarse más. Esta fue una situación que marcó mi infancia e inspiró esta canción donde el narrador invita al perdón y a la reconciliación y pide a su hermana menor Mei Mei, como en chino mandarín, que vuelvan a ser unidos como en el pasado.
