The Way of No Conditions

September 11, 2020: The way of no conditions is defined in the song as "the way to becoming Love." This concept is key in the song, because all positive changes in life are aimed at "becoming Love," which means here to love unconditionally. It was in 2016 when I wrote the lyrics for The Way of No Conditions, a song from my second album Inner Road to Somewhere, where I explore all what growing internally can do in a person's life.

I mention in the song that I walk in the "woods of creation," a symbol for walking the path of life. As time goes by, and as we grow spiritually, the way we perceive life, as well as the people and things that surround us, changes.

The way that leads to unconditional love described in the song begins with seeing people and things as opposites: from one side there are people and things we love; from the other, those we don't love.

As we advance in this way of no conditions, we begin to live in a "world of preferences." This means that there are now people and things that we love, and others that we choose not to hate, that we simply see as "less preferable." The way of unconditional love leads to seeing the world as neutral, something that is achieved by surrendering, by letting go of all attitudes and ways of thinking that block the light of God's Love.

Finally, if a person is committed to loving unconditionally, in due time the presence of God's Love in all of creation becomes apparent; however, not as a rational conclusion, but rather as an internal revelation, as a conviction that God's Love is the basis of creation, and this realization brings about a joy that is so exquisite as to change life forevermore.

Septiembre 11 de 2020: El camino de la incondicionalidad lo defino en la canción como "el camino para convertirnos en Amor". Este concepto es clave en la canción, ya que todos los cambios positivos en la vida están dirigidos a "convertirnos en Amor", lo que quiere decir, en este caso, el amar incondicionalmente. Fue en 2016 que escribí la letra de The Way of No Conditions (en español, El Camino de la Incondicionalidad), un sencillo de mi segundo álbum Inner Road to Somewhere, el cual explora todo lo que el crecer internamente puede hacer en la vida de una persona.

En la canción menciono que camino en "los bosques de la creación", un símbolo para el caminar en los senderos de la vida. A medida que avanza el tiempo y que crecemos espiritualmente, la forma como percibimos la vida y las personas y cosas que nos rodean cambia.

El camino que lleva al amor incondicional descrito en la canción comienza con el ver a las personas y cosas como opuestos: de un lado están las personas y cosas que amamos; del otro, aquellas que no amamos.

A medida que avanzamos en este camino de la incondicionalidad, empezamos a vivir en un "mundo de preferencias". Esto quiere decir que ahora existen personas y cosas que amamos, y otras que decidimos no odiar, que aprendemos a ver simplemente como "menos atractivas". El camino del amor incondicional lleva entonces a ver el mundo como neutral, algo que se adquiere al desapegarnos, al desprendernos de todas aquellas actitudes y formas de pensar que bloquean la luz del Amor de Dios.

Finalmente, si la persona se compromete con el amar de forma incondicional, en su debido tiempo, la presencia del Amor de Dios en todo lo creado se hará evidente. Sin embargo, esto no sucede gracias a una conclusión intelectual, sino a manera de una revelación interna, a través de una convicción de que el Amor de Dios es el fundamento de todo lo creado, y este entendimiento trae consigo una felicidad tan sublime que cambia la vida por siempre jamás.
